Beginning at 5:30, you will play in a scramble at one of 3 levels: novice intermediate or advanced.
Maximum 24 participants.
The event ends at 8:30 pm.
You do not register with a partner. You play with a new partner every game.
2.5 Men's and Women's Doubles begins at 10:30 am. At 12:30 pm, 3.0 Men's and Women's Doubles starts. 2:30 pm for 3.5 Men's and Women's Doubles begins and finally at approx. 4:30 the 4.0+ event begins.

Beginning at 11 am play for 2.5 Mixed Doubles begins. At around 1 pm 3.0 Mixed Doubles begins followed by 3.5 Mixed Doubles at approx. 3 pm. There is no 4.0+ mixed event.

A series of four weekly 2-hour clinics starting September 27. Saturday afternoons 12:30 - 2:30 pm For intermediate players looking to advance their game. Maximum 12 players. Cost: $95 Location: 780 Argyle St.

There will be 8 leagues this fall at The Village on Argyle (780 Argyle St.) starting on September 10. Wednesdays start September 10, Fridays start September 26, Saturdays September 27, and Sundays September 28. Registration begins August 9 at 7:30 am.
Recreational Leagues (24 participants)
Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:30, cost is $89 for 7 weeks
Fridays 5:30 - 7:00 pm, cost is $68 for 6 weeks
Sundays 1 - 3 pm , cost is $79 for 6 weeks
Intermediate Round Robin (22 participants)
Fridays 7 - 8:30 pm, cost is $78 for 7 weeks
Intermediate Leagues (22 participants)
Sundays 11 am - 1 pm, cost is $85 for 6 weeks
Sundays 3 - 5 pm, cost is $85 fro 6 weeks
Advanced League (22 participants)
Wednesdays 4:30 - 6:30 pm, cost is $89 for 7 weeks
Advanced Ladder (21 participants)
Saturdays 10:30 am - 12:30 pm cost is $75 for 6 weeks
Recreational Leagues
Recreational leagues are for everyone. There is no minimum skill requirement. The Winners/Nonwinner box system for paddles will be used. It is social play. You are expected to play with everyone. If you need lessons in how to play, Alan will give lessons the first week so that you can join the group by the second week. The goal is to meet people, have fun and get exercise in a supportive environment. Alan reserves the right to decide if the league is appropriate for you keeping in mind it should be fun for all the participants. Alan will provide coaching if requested.
Intermediate Leagues
Intermediate leagues are for players who would like more competitive games than recreational play and enjoy the challenge and excitement of intermediate play. It requires more technical skill and a tactical understanding of the game. Players are able to adapt to a soft or hard game. Alan reserves the right to determine if you are able to participate at the level of the league based on your consistent performance as assessed by your game scores in the first 2 weeks. A refund for the remaining weeks will be provided if it is determined a different league suits you.
The first week will be a round robin with two separate groups. Based on scores, players will be assigned to a group A or group B. Each week a round robin is done within each group. The highest 3 scoring players in group B move to group A and the lowest 3 scoring players in group A move to group B for the following week.

Advanced Leagues
Advanced leagues are for players who are more skilled and competitive than intermediate play and enjoy the challenge and excitement of advanced play. It requires more technical skill and a tactical understanding of the game. These players have competed successfully at the 3.5 - 4.0 tournament level.
Advanced players are able to execute drop shots and drives in the appropriate situation as well as position themselves at the kitchen effectively. Alan reserves the right to determine if you are able to participate at the level of the league based on your consistent performance as assessed by your game scores in the first 2 weeks. A refund for the remaining weeks will be provided if it is determined a different league suits you.
The first week will be a round robin with two separate groups. Based on scores, players will be assigned to a group A or group B. Each week a round robin is done within each group. The highest 3 scoring players in group B move to group A and the lowest 3 scoring players in group A move to group B for the following week.

Advanced Ladder League
For players who have competed successfully at the 3.5 - 4.0 tournament level. (see above)
The first week will be a round robin. Based on scores, players will be assigned to 1 of 8 courts. There you will play with 4 or 5 players in a round robin format, playing with each other player as your doubles partner.
Courts 5 - 8 will be at 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and courts 1 - 4 will be at 12:30 - 2:30 pm. You need to be prepared to play at either time slot if you are in the middle of the group and end up moving between court 4 and 5.
